Crash on A6 in Lancashire forces police to close road through Catterall

A collision in Catterall has closed a stretch of the A6 this morning.

The collision, involving a Mini and another vehicle, happened at the junction of the A6 Preston Lancaster New Road and Cock Robin Lane at around 8.15am.

Police attended the scene and the road was closed, preventing access to Cock Robin Lane from the A6.

Traffic in Cock Robin Lane, heading to the A6, was turned around and diverted back towards Garstang Road.

An ambulance attended and treated the driver of the Mini for minor injuries. Nobody was taken to hospital.
