Car fire on M6

A car fire on the M6 on Friday evening prompted a callout for fire crews from Lancaster and Morecambe.

An engine from each station dealt with the fire fire on the hard shoulder near junction 34.

The firefighters used one breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
