Tractor rescue on rural Lancashire road
Firefighters freed a man who was trapped by a tractor wheel this afternoon on a rural Lancashire road.
Firefighters from Lancaster, Garstang and colleagues from Preston with equipment used in rescues involving heavy goods vehicles responded to the incident in Main Street, Cockerham.
The casualty was trapped by his leg in the back wheel of a tractor.
Paramedics attended to the casualty throughout the rescue operation and firefighters released him.
He was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
