Tower is nation's favourite Victorian landmark
The iconic structure has come first in a survey by coach company National Express to to mark the anniversary of the coronation of Queen Victoria, which took place on June 28, 1838.
A spokesman said: “The survey of 1,000 people pays tribute to the incredible architecture and engineering prowess of the Victorians, which has shaped towns and cities across the UK.”
