Top government role for Lancashire MP
The MP for Wyre and Preston North has been given a senior role as part of a cabinet reshuffle.
Former soldier Ben Wallace has been announced as the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Northern Ireland office.
Prime Minister David Cameron made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday morning.
