Comedian, actor and former Lancashire Evening Post columnist Ted Robbins has returned to the Manchester Arena for the first time since he nearly died while performing on stage at the venue a year ago.

During a special film for BBC Inside Out North West, he goes back to the spot where he collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest.

He said: “I came up through the trap door - the biggest audience of my life and it was their opening night, our opening night, and almost my closing one.”
