Drive For Justice has been working to raise £20,000 to provide food, clothing and shelter, and are calling on people to join the convoy to help on their mission.

Items requested include blankets, sleeping bags, cloths, non-perishable food, torches and hygiene products.

Drop-off points include the Texaco petrol station in New Hall Lane, Preston, and The Premier, Eaves Lane, Chorley.

The team will be leaving at 11am today from Corporation Park in Blackburn to travel to Dover and cross via ferry to Calais.
