Survey: Have your say on Preston bus station
Since it opened in 1969, Preston’s bus station has divided opinion - to some it is an iconic piece of architecture and to others its a crumbling drain on the city’s resources.
The city’s council has put forward plans for it to be demolished which it claims will save it nearly £300,000-a-year, sparking protestors into claiming it will destroy a building of national significance which they say can still be restored.
The Evening Post is conducting a special survey to gather the views of the people of Preston over the future of the building.
