A popular collectables store is set to raise money for charity once again by bringing Hollywood to Chorley.

Films and Figures on Clarence Street in the town will host a Stars & Cars Charity Day this Saturday, November 15 to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity.

Last July, Kevin Yates, who runs the store held a Movie Icons Day and says this event is going to be bigger and better than its predecessor.

Kevin said: “We will be holding a raffle again with all the prizes donated by ourselves to raise money for charity and also we are running a kids cosplay contest on the day.

“There will also be a free to enter kids under 12’s cosplay contest.

“Everyone who enters gets an automatic 10 per cent off whatever you buy instore that day, all kids get a free gift and the winner gets themselves a prize and a £10 instore gift voucher.

Kevin added: “You must be under 12, homemade and shop bought costumes are welcome and the winner will be drawn on the day at 2pm.”

As well as the Barricade and BeaterBee cars from the hit film, Transformers, KITT from Knight Rider, and the A Team van, there will be a number of other vehicles and special guests around on the day including Storm Troopers and Tie Pilot.
