Staff at Chesterfield shop help catch wanted man
The staff at Game, on Burlington Street, noticed a man in their store who they recognised as being allegedly wanted for fraud at another Game store in the West Midlands area.
They contacted police who searched the area and arrested a man matching the description in the town centre.

Hide AdFurther enquiries by officers found that the same man was also wanted on suspicion of theft and fraud offences in West Yorkshire, West Midlands and Oldham, and offences in Derbyshire.
A second man was arrested by police in Derby in connection with the same incidents later that day.
PC Stephen O’Callaghan and PCSO John Lockwood of the Chesterfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team presented the staff with a certificate as a thanks for their proactive work with police.
Team Sergeant Dave Nicholls said: “We would like to thank the staff at Game in Chesterfield for their prompt work to alert officers to a man who was allegedly wanted for fraud and theft offences, in Derbyshire and other parts of the country.

Florin Craciun, 58, and Petru Pascu, 34, both of Helming Drive, Wolverhampton, appeared at Chesterfield Justice Centre charged with theft from a person on Friday, January 22.
They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Friday, February 19.
