To celebrate Anti-Racism Day and combat racial discrimination, a music gig will be held at Preston’s Charter Theatre on Friday, March 27 from 7pm.

Called Standing Together Against Racism, it will feature national and international artists covering soul, hip hop, classical Indian and debka.

Rizwan Iqbal of The Love and Etiquette Foundation which has organised the event, said: “This event is a creative example of putting Preston on the map, attracting local audiences and quality artists to promote positive messages rather than focus on negative events. It’s encouraging to receive wide support from all sections of Prestons’ communities as well as develop understanding and provide a cultural offering of music for the city.”

Tickets £15 or pay on the door. Early bird tickets £10 before March 15. Book on: www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/78401 or www.loveetiquette.com or call 07870 100 590.
