Made up of their nearest and dearest, the congregation gathered in the Medieval Banqueting Suite at Park Hall in Charnock Richard for a day which many commented as being so different. From romantic gentures, including a personalised video of messages for the bride, to an owl ring bearer, the day was a true reflection of the happy couple. They met in 2011 when they worked together in the nightclub industry, at Jumping Jaks in Wigan, was where their love story began. They became engaged in 2015 outside the Lyceum Theatre in London.Jon used Love Actually style flashcards to pop the question.Melissa, 26, a primary school cover supervisor, said: “Jon is known by all our family and friends as being the big romantic.“On the morning of our wedding, Jhe had sent a box full of presents to open.“I was under strict instructions with the first one. An iPad was placed in front of me and I watched the most beautiful video ever created.“My mum didn’t unfortunately get to be there and her presence was missed so greatly.“Jon had secretly planned and pieced together a video with messages of love and support from all our family and friends. It cost nothing but time but it was and probably always will be the most beautiful gift.”They had an all-day host who brought the whole event together and guests enjoyed DJ music, face-painting and entertainment by a saxophonist.Jon said: “Our wedding day was simply the best day of my life.“Not only did I get to marry the girl of my dreams, but I got to celebrate it in front of all my friends and family.“We had a fantastic day, and we owe it all to every single member of staff and supplier we put every ounce of faith in.”
