Something for everyone in the summer guide

Every primary school pupil has been sent home for summer with a copy of a new events guide.

New South Ribble summer events guide

Jam-packed full of holiday camps, family events and plenty of evening activities, South Ribble Council’s officers and the local Children’s Partnership Board have complied the list of events and designed the guide which is now available across the borough.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

Coun Phil Smith, cabinet member with responsibility for regeneration and leisure said: “From school holiday camps to family fun days and wildlife activities, there’s so much for all ages to get involved with in the coming months.

“It’s fantastic to see so many health walks in the guide too as I know they’re well attended and they’re great for people of all ages to get active whilst taking in the beauty of our borough.”

Libraries and leisure centres across have the guides which are also available from the civic centre.
