Smash closes main road into Preston
A woman had to be helped out of her car by firefighters after a crash with a van on Brockholes Brow, Preston.
The crash happened between a white Fiat 500 and a black transit van at 7.15am near the Tickled Trout Hotel.
Firefighters were not needed to cut the woman out of the car, but assisted paramedics.
Details of injuries have not been given.
The road was temporarily closed while recovery work took place.
