A creation of Preston-born animator Nick Park is featured in a new art trail in London.

Dozens of 5ft-tall Shaun the Sheep statues were being put in place yesterday for the launch of Shaun in the City.

The colourful sculptures of the Aardman creations character have been designed by celebrities including designer Cath Kidston and model David Gandy for the Wallace and Gromit Children’s Foundation.

They will be in place until May 25 and will then be auctioned off for the charity.
