A woman had to be cut out of the wreckage of a car, following a crash in Preston city centre.
Emergency services were called to Marsh Lane, near its junction with Corporation Street, following the collision between a Fiat Punto and a Ford saloon at 12.20pm on Monday.
One man managed to walk away from the Ford and received treatment from paramedics, but fire crews had to remove the roof of the Fiat to free the woman.
She was taken out on a spinal board and taken to the Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
The junction was closed for over an hour, leading to heavy traffic in the area.
