Road police arrest wanted man on M55

Lancashire Road Police have today arrested a man wanted in Staffordshire on threat to kill alegations.

Officers had been circulated details by the Staffordshire force, including car registration and description of the man, and were able to apprehend him on the M55 outside Broughton, in the Preston area.

The man was arrested at around 11.15am.

PC Craig Booth, of Lancashire Road Police, said: “We were advised that this man was wanted on breach of bail allegations regarding a serious charge against him.

“We were aware of his details and were able to make an arrest.”
