Residents meet team 999 at Preston roadshow

Preston people had the chance to meet lifesavers and learn about what goes on behind the scenes of North West Ambulance Service as part of its new public education initiative #Team999.

The roadshow took place on Preston’s Flag Market and ambulance staff Saturday 22 February, seven representative members of NWAS were stationed in Preston’s Flag Market to help educate the public about the service and the different roles within it. The #Team999 campaign aims to show calling 999 does not necessarily result in an ambulance being sent or a trip to hospital and there are various care options.
