Nadeem said: “I’m going with a few friends from an organisation called Global Justice Now.

“I have invited people from Preston and there are five of us going, all from different religious communities and backgrounds.

“This is being seen as a carnival of resistance so people are not going to be screaming and fighting.

“It’s going to be a visual protest, a peaceful protest by people who are against Donald Trump’s policies.

“Some of his policies are very divisive, not just for Muslims but for different communities.

“I have always been taught not to hate the person but to hate their actions and I don’t hate him but his actions are divisive.

“I do think he should be allowed to come into our country.

“If you say to Donald Trump you can’t come to our country what’s different between us and his policies?

“He needs to see 50,000 people protesting peacefully in London.”
