A property company has ranked Britain’s towns for trick or treaters by a combination of factors including high property prices and household density, safe roads and low local crime rates.

Preston came fourth in the ‘worst towns’ list, just behind Chesterfield, Middlesbrough and Hull.

Milton Keynes came out top of the Halloween towns.
