When Weronik Dunaj, 10, and her younger sister, Zuzanna, eight, were taken for their first cut, they decided to make it worth while, donating their hair to make wigs for terminally ill children.
Their dad, Pawel Dunaj, of Preston, said: “Both of my daughters, who attend English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary School, have never had their hair cut before and we decided that we would like to help children with cancer by cutting it and sending to Little Princess Trust.
“We are still trying to raise the money and hope to get £500, which is the cost of a wig.
“I’m really proud of the girls.”
