Jennifer Mellors, club secretary, said: “All we do is raise money for charity, as we organise events all year round. We want to show that bikers are not trouble makers and want to help others.

“We have done this run for a few years with very good results, usually a great turnout.

“We ride from the Lea Gate pub, to the hospital and bring donations of Easter Eggs and small toys for children in hospital over Easter.

“We realised that not all children can eat chocolate so we introduced toys.

“Anybody can donate eggs or toys - they don’t have to be a member. They don’t even have to be a biker as they can follow in the car.

“The children really appreciate it. It is worth while.”

If anyone wishes to take part, they should meet at Lea Gate, Blackpool Road, Preston at noon on April 9 to set off at 1pm.
