A hitlist of Preston and South Ribble’s most wanted criminals has been released by police.

Officers are hoping readers will recognise the criminals and come forward with information about their whereabouts.

Two women and five men are wanted for a combination of crimes.

Police want to trace Zoe Hulton, also known as Zoe Jane Halsall.

The 36-year-old was last known to live at Ribbleton Lane, Ribbleton, Preston.

She is wanted for the theft of £200 worth of clothes from Sainsburys and a warrant for her arrest was issued on December 19 by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Aiden James Day, 25, who lives in the Preston area, has been wanted since September 14, when he breached a court order by failing to make himself available for installation of an electronic tag.

Christopher James Lowe, 24, who previously lived in Preston, breached a community order he was given for assaulting somebody and a warrant was issued for his arrest in July.

Officers have also been searching for Wayne Alan Smith, 26, since August.

He was last known to be living in Penwortham and is wanted for the theft of £80 cash.

Thomas James Hayden, 29, has been wanted since November for failing to comply with a community order.

Preston Police want to trace Thomas Lynch, 24, who flouted a court order, and Ian Blakey, 27, formerly of Frenchwood Avenue, Preston, who is wanted for kidnap and aggravated burglary.

And officers in Chorley want to trace Shelley Carcel, also known as Shelley Watson, 33, who has been wanted since September wanted for stealing a car.

Det Insp Keith Lee said: “We arrest a significant number of people who are either wanted on warrant or on prison recall. However, a small number of people will do all that they can to evade capture and go to ground.”
