Officers say the 52-year-old woman was found lying on a grass verge near the entrance to a car park at Anglezarke by a cycling companion. She had suffered a fractured collar bone and has no memory of how she came to be on the ground.

The incident happened just before 3pm on Saturday when the woman was out cycling with a friend in Moor Road, Rivington.
