A man missing from his home in Chorley for more than a week could be on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, police have said.

Paul Farley was last seen at around 2.30pm on Sunday, October 25, when he left his home on Moor Lane in Coppull to buy cigarettes.

He is thought to be travelling in his white Renault Kangoo van and police say the latest information suggests he has travelled to Skye.

Paul is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with short grey hair. He was last known to be wearing a blue crew-neck top and black trousers.

PC Craig McCabe, of Chorley police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Paul and would urge anyone who may have seen him or who knows where he may be to get in touch as soon as possible.

“Similarly I would urge Paul if he sees this appeal to get in touch to let us know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log number 0237 of October 26.
