Families found plenty to enjoy at a series of daytime events for the Leyland Live festival.
There was plenty going on in the town over the weekend, as families were treated to street performances, craft activities and other events on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Dance Talent Studio put on some impressive displays outside Peppermint Cottage on Hough Lane, whilst youngsters also enjoyed an Easter biscuit decorating workshop at the United Reformed Church, an origami workshop at the South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre, and making their own beauty products at the Young People’s Centre.
There was also a Punch and Judy Show at Leyland Methodist Church, face painting at Woman, a caricature artist at Ice Dreams and Coffee Beans, story time at Leyland Library, and musical instrument taster sessions at Rimmers.
The events were in addition to the evening entertainment, including live music, at nearly 20 venues.
