Peter Kay to premier TV show for Chorley hospice

Comedian Peter Kay is to hold an exclusive premiere of his new TV sitcom in aid of Derian House children’s hospice.

He will screen all six episodes of the new BBC series Car Share at the Blackpool Opera House on Saturday, March 28.

The show was commissioned by the BBC two years ago, as an iPlayer-first venture, and filming has taken place in the North West.

The screening of Car Share will take place in the Winter Gardens’ theatre in aid of Chorley children’s hospice Derian House.

Bolton-born Kay will introduce the series on the night.

Car Share follows the journeys of supermarket workers John and Kayleigh who are paired up when the company introduced a car share scheme and they are forced to commute each day to work.
