Wallace and Gromit creator ties the knot in Lancashire
Preston-born animator Nick Park has returned to the county to get married.
Nick, the creator of Wallace and Gromit, tied the knot to Mags Connolly on Friday at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel, near Chipping.
Nick Lord, co-owner of Aardman Animations, tweeted: “I’m in Lancashire. Fortunately. Because this is where the wonderful Nick Park is about to marry the lovely Mags Connolly. Aaaaah!”
The 57-year-old was born and grew up in Preston, and his family still live in the area.
He has won four Oscars for the adventures of the Wensleydale-obsessed Wallace and his faithful sidekick Gromit.
