Second lottery win in a week in Preston

Two people in Preston are the latest celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Rydal Road neighbours netted the windfall when PR1 5SL was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on March 6.

Earlier this week two people living in Chapman Road scooped £1,000 each when PR2 8NX was pulled out in the draw.

This week's prizes come a week after four people living in Bolton-le-Sands, near Carnforth, netted £1,000 each when their postcode was announced as a Daily Prize winner.

And on the same day two residents of Westminster Place, Eccleston, near Chorley, also won £1,000 each when their postcode PR7 5QP.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the latest winners.

He said: “What brilliant news to get just before the weekend! Congratulations to our winners, I think they’ll be celebrating tonight.”
