A Preston woman has won £50,000 and a car on the lottery.
Lucky Fishwick woman Sharon Beck, 51, came up trumps on the People's Postcode Lottery.
Her address was picked for the £25,000 prize, but because she plays with two tickets she has scooped £50,000.
As part of her prize she was also given a brand new BMW.
Sharon, who works as a machine operator at a factory, was with her husband James, mum Martha and dad Albert when People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson presented her with her prizes.
She said: “Wow – I just can’t stop smiling. I’m completely dumbfounded as I never thought anything like this would happen to me! My jaw hit the floor when I found out I’d won the car too!”
“I’m off on holiday to Greece soon so it’s great knowing I won’t need to worry about spending money - I’ll definitely be celebrating with a few nice meals out! I have 4 sons and James has 2 daughters, and between us we have 10 grandchildren, so I’ll be spoiling them with the windfall.”
Danyl Johnson offered his congratulations and said: “It was lovely to meet Sharon and present her with two incredible prizes. I hope she enjoys spending her winnings and driving her brand new car! To be in with a chance of winning make sure that you are signed up to play with your postcode.”
