Power cut near Preston under investigation
Houses in Barton, near Preston, have been hit by a power cut tonight.
Electricity North West said engineers had been dispatched and an update would be issued later.
The firm tweeted: "We are aware of a #PowerCut affecting a number of properties in the #Barton area of #Preston.
"Engineers have been dispatched and are due on site at 20:20.
"Once we have more information we will provide an update."
