Lucky Lancashire strikes lottery gold with winners across the county

Six people in Chorley were celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Bentham Street neighbours netted the windfall when PR7 5AR was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Sunday.

And three people in Hazelwood Gardens, Lancaster, landed £1,000 each when LA1 4PQ came up in the same draw.

The following day two people in Deighton Avenue, Leyland, won £1,000 each when PR25 2FD was announced as a Daily Prize winner.

Meanwhile, on Saturday four people in Blackpool scooped £1,000 each when Lee Road and the postcode FY4 4QS struck gold.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

He said: “What a fantastic way to start the week. Congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy spending the cash and get themselves a treat with their winnings.”
