Lostock Hall community honours war heroes to mark 75 years since VJ Day
The Lostock Hall community celebrated its war heroes with a small, socially distanced service.
The Royal British Legion branch hosted the commemoration on Saturday, which included laying wreaths at the town’s war memorial, to mark the 75th anniversary of VJ Day.
Attendees included: Michael Turner, organiser and RBL county chairman; piper Bill Barlow; parade marshal and bugler Darryl Cartwright; and standard bearers L/Cpl Cartwright and Stuart Dagger.
