Local restrictions have been imposed on Preston from midnight on Friday 7 August as the rate of infection continues to rise in the city.

This follows warnings from Lancashire's Director of Public Health last week that the city was 'on the radar' for local lockdown.

Areas of east Lancashire, including, Burnley, Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Pendle and Rossendale saw similar restrictions imposed at the end July.
