The Lawrence Hotel in Padiham has changed its name to The Jordan Hotel in honour of Jordan who was voted camp leader by the public this week and bookies have tipped him as the favourite to win.
A former student at St James Lanehead Primary School in Burnley Jordan has been a hit with viewers and fellow contestants from day one thanks to his frank admission that he is 'scared of everything.'
The proud Burnley FC supporter has won the hearts of the nation as he has completed a series of bush tucker trials involving snakes and insects and an eating trial where he dined on a goat's eye!
The hotel’s luxury duplex suite at the award winning hotel has also been re-named 'The Happy Place' in a nod to his mantra on the show to give him the nerve to face the trials.
The hotel is donating the profit from any bookings for the suite that are taken while he is on the show t Pendleside Hospice.
Michael Huckerby, owner of newly monikered The Jordan Hotel, said; “It’s not often we see someone putting Burnley on the map like Jordan has.
"He’s a brilliant personality and it’s great to see everyone take to him so quickly. We wanted to celebrate his incredible attitude in taking on so many challenges and facing his fears.
“We hope that he will see how proud we are of him when he leaves the show - ideally as the winner and king of the castle.
"He is welcome to come and stay at The Jordan Hotel whenever he wants."
