The funeral of Saffie Rose Roussos, the eight-year-old killed in the Manchester Arena terror attack, is scheduled to take place next week.
Mourners will gather for the service at Manchester Cathedral next Wednesday, July 26, with a time to be confirmed.
The Tarleton Community Primary School pupil was the youngest victim of the atrocity at the Ariana Grande concert in May.
The date of the funeral being set comes a few weeks after hundreds gathered outside her parents’ chip shop in Leyland to mark what would have been her ninth birthday.
Balloons were released in her memory and a mini funfair was held as part of the celebration of her life.
Saffie’s mum Lisa required hospital treatment for the injuries she sustained in the attack which killed 22 people.
Further details of the funeral are expected later this week.
