The Magpies' FA Cup victory celebrations have now gone viral - with the video viewed 8 million times - but it is one particularly famous 'fan' whose comment has turned heads at the weekend.

The Magpies's jubilant locker-room karaoke might not win them a record contract anytime soon, but it has earned a famous thumbs up from none other than Adele herself, with the megastar tweeting the team back with a 'love heart' emoji.

The rare tweet from one of the world's best-selling singer-songwriters, who boasts 27 million followers, has helped share Chorley F.C's incredible victory with her fans worldwide.

What makes it even more incredible is the fact that Adele is famously quiet on Twitter, posting just one tweet a year since 2018.

Her last tweet, before she shared her love for Chorley FC on Sunday, was posted in October 2020, preceded by single tweets in November 2019 and December 2018.
