One of the hottest names in international wrestling comes to Preston tonight as PCW stages its annual 30-man rumble event.

Prince Devitt has taken New Japan Pro Wrestling by storm where he is the feared leader of Bullet Club - a villainous group of foreign wrestlers.

A former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Devitt is renowned for his technical in-ring ability and eye-catching, Marvel-inspired bodypaint.

The 32-year-old, from Bray, Ireland, will be part of a stacked Who Dares Wins show at Evoque nightclub in Church Street, where he will take on former PCW Heavyweight Champion Kris Travis.

Travis, from Sheffield, wowed PCW fans with his epic clashes with the likes of Kevin Steen, Chris Masters and Joey Hayes last year, and this encounter with Devitt should be no different.

Meanwhile, the main event will see 30 men compete in the over-the-top rope PCW Rumble - with an as yet unannounced prize for the winner.

Participants are only eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor.

A preliminary six-man clash will see Dave Mastiff, El Ligero, Danny Hope, Joey Hayes, Cyanide and Martin Kirby compete for the number 30 spot in the rumble - with the loser facing the uphill battle that is the number one entry.

Elsewhere the former WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick will fly in from America to challenge the PCW Tag Team Champions Team Single (T-Bone and Rampage Brown).

Dean Allmark and Robbie Dynamite will face the returning Fight Club from Scotland, while the PCW Cruiserweight Title will be on the line as champion April Davids looks to settle a personal score with Bubblegum.

Finally, in a move that will delight the company’s fans, PCW has announced a special guest appearance from the PCW Heavyweight Champion Lionheart.

The Scottish star is recovering from a serious neck injury suffered at the promotion’s last event, Road to Glory, and can be sure of a hero’s welcome in Preston.

Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start.

Tickets are priced £15 on the door.
