A party to celebrate the promotion of Preston North End is set to be thrown for fans.
Bosses at the Villa at North End are to host a special event following the Lilywhites’ promotion to the Championship.
Supporters are invited to the celebration on July 3, which will showcase the highlights of the last season.
Richard Simkin, head of operations at the Villa at North End, said he came up with the plans for the evening to mark the team’s promotion and wish them well in their Championship campaign.
He said: “It’s just a chance for the fans to come and have a bit of entertainment and a laugh and get together.
“It is important to get the fans in and have a bit of a celebration. They have celebrated themselves but it is a chance to get them in the stadium in the Invincibles Lounge next to the pitch.
“The fans deserve something nice.”
Richard said about 100 of 250 tickets had already been sold, but said: “If there is a big demand for people to come in then we will add an extra room.
“It is important to have something in the city and it goes hand-in-hand with everything, and it is wishing them well in the new season.”
The party will celebrate North End’s play-offs victory over Swindon Town, which saw them promoted to the Championship.
