Letters: We urgently need to start winning games

I am very, very disappointed with Preston North End's season rapidly going downhill, like a lead  balloon.

They have not won in the league since the opening home win over Queens Park Rangers, giving me the impression that last season’s seventh place finish was just a one-off single season flash-in-the-pan.

If it is not one thing going wrong, it is another thing, and as soon as it is addressed then there is the next problem.

Either way, we frustratingly can’t win.

When the home atmosphere gets bad because of this, it is self-inflicted by the team not turning up on the day in terms of team performance.

In sport, just like in music entertainment, applause must be earned.

Remember that, PNE.

Get it sorted now or else you are relegation material!

It’s urgent!

We have had a shocking start to the season, mainly through not having players available due to suspension.

Ben Pearson is a good player, though he must get himself sorted or he should be transfer-listed.

Many people won’t agree with that but I ask what good is he for the club while being unavailable?

The position we are in leaves Alex Neil (pictured) in a very dodgy position.

I do think, as it’s early days, we will be okay, but the fans are very unhappy with what’s going on.

We have not replaced Hugill at all. The lad from Man City and Moult have been very disappointing.

It’s time something was done as the home support will dwindle to worrying numbers. The slide must stop.
