One step closer for Stocks Hall Living's new leisure centre plans in Mawdesley

Stocks Hall Living in Hall Lane, Mawdesley, has begun ‘stage two’ of its plans to bring a state-of-the-art leisure suite to the 42 roomed home.

A spokesman for the care home said: “As well as the extensive facilities, phase two will incorporate a swimming pool, vitality spa, steam room, sauna room, gymnasium, plus an exterior hot tub with seating area.”

The complex will also include a new café, external terrace seating area, and a health and beauty spa with treatment rooms.

A further eight apartments will be built in addition to the 12 already on site, with their own private access routes.

Company director Sue Lace said: “We are all very excited by the progress and development of the second phase at Stocks Hall Living in Mawdesley.

“Once completed, this will hopefully help to enhance our Group as a whole, as well as benefitting the local community, integrating us further and making Stocks Hall Living Mawdesley a hub for village life.”

An overall completion date of Christmas 2019 has been pencilled in by developers.
