One person treated after cooker blaze

One person was treated by paramedics following a house fire in Lancaster

The incident happened in Shakespeare Road, Skerton at around 3.45pm on Friday.

Fire crews from Lancaster and Morecambe attended the blaze which involved a cooker.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus sets and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

One person in the house at the time of the fire was treated by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
