One person taken to hospital after caravan fire in Bolton-le-Sands

Firefighters using breathing apparatus tackled a fire in a caravan in Bolton-le-Sands last night.

Two fire engines from Bolton-le-Sands and Morecambe attended the blaze in the static caravan on Shore Lane.

Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one jet and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.

One casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation.

The fire service received the call at: 8.17pm.
