SAMLESBURY Longbow Archers held an ‘Againcourt’ shoot to commemorate the success of Henry V and his army yesterday.

The reenactment was held at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby League Club on the 600th 
anniversary of the battle.

Medieval costumes were aplenty and arrows flew through the sky as the archers lined up in their hundreds to test their arm.

Using traditional hand crafted longbows, the archers shot at targets depicting English and French knights and shields as they came from all across the country.
