Officers search for missing 14-year-old girl

Megan Ginley, 14, was last seen at an address in Bowness Avenue around 5pm yesterday, November 10.

She is described as white, 5ft 2in tall, of medium build, with shoulder length ginger hair by police.

She was wearing a navy Fulwood Academy blazer, white shirt, navy skirt and black shoes.

Police are appealing for information to help find her.

Sgt Luke Newman, of Lancashire Police, said: “Megan has been missing for several hours now and we want to locate her as soon as possible.

“She was last seen wearing her school uniform and as the night grows colder we are very concerned about her condition.

“If you have seen Megan, or have any information leading to her whereabouts, please call police immediately.

“Likewise, if Megan sees this appeal, I would ask her to contact us to let officers know she is safe.”
