'˜Not the best start to the weekend'
Emergency services were tonight dealing with an accident on the M55 near Kirkham.
Lancashire Road Police posted a picture on Twitter showing a car which appeared to have rolled off the motorway into the undergrowth
They commented: “J4, M55. Spot the RTC. Pay attention to what is on the road, not what’s inside your vehicle.
“Not the best start to the weekend.”
One lane was blocked due to the accident on the M55 Eastbound and the vehicle was awaiting recovery.
