Flipout Preston is taking shape in Mercer Street off New Hall Lane, and is hoped to open in the next two weeks.

Aysha Gurgee, who will be managing the centre, said the new trampoline park had created 52 jobs for people in the local area.

She said there would be a dedicated under-fives area, and said Flipout was aimed at families.

She added: “We are going to have student nights as well, on Fridays we are going to have an after dark session with disco lights.

“And we’ve got a massive parkour area at the back.”

The Australian company already has trampoline parks across the country, and the new location is hoped to provide a centre for the local community.

Aysha said: “We’ve got walking stepping stones, and if you lose your balance you fall into a foam pit.

“There are trampolines going on the side wall, and we’ve got a massive cafe for parents who don’t want to go on the trampolines.”

Aysha, 30, said she had worked with children for the last three years in play centres, and said she was looking forward to the new venture.

She said: “Everything has gone through, we are looking at completing in the next two weeks.

“We haven’t got an exact date yet, but we are looking at, hopefully, in two weeks (for opening).

“We’ve started recruiting staff - we have created 52 jobs and they are for people in the local area.”

Aysha said she had been looking for the right location for a trampoline park, and said: “It’s so central, it’s easy access for the local community.”
