New soft play centre plans for Heckmondwike
Heckmondwike could have a new soft play centre if a planning application is given the go-ahead.
Angela Surtees, of Liversedge, has sought permission from Kirklees Council to convert a former shop on Union Street into a soft play gym for children under the age of six.
The new business would also have a snack bar, but will not offer any additional parking other than 10 existing spaces.

If approved, the centre would open from 9am-7.30pm from Monday-Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sundays.
The proposal will now be assessed by council planning officers before a decision is made.
