A new director has joined Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust’s board.

Dee Roach is the new director of nursing, quality and governance at health and wellbeing provider Lancashire Care Trust.

In her new role, Dee has responsibility for professional leadership, clinical governance, patient safety and service user and public involvement.

Dee previously worked at Lancashire Care as deputy director of nursing where she also led on a major service redesign as clinical director.

Heather Tierney-Moore, chief executive at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dee back to the trust and look forward to her contributing to the work the trust is doing to improve the quality of the health and wellbeing services that we provide.

“Dee brings with her a wealth of experience in leading and developing nursing services and brings a range of skills to the board which will help us to continue to strive for improvement and excellence.”
