Fire officers believe a blaze which destroyed an expensive motorhome could have been started deliberately.
Police are now investigating the cause of the fire which happened at around 6.30pm on Monday in Preston.
It is believed the motorhome had been parked in Moor Park Avenue for the past month and had been broken into before the fire started.
“The owner did not live there and was very upset when he was brought to the scene by police,” said a fire brigade spokesman.
“An investigation is continuing into the cause of the fire, but the most likely cause is arson.
“Our message would be that starting fires deliberately is a serious crime and put lives in danger.”
